Los Angeles artist, Sandra Low will exhibit recent paintings influenced by the popular American foods of the 1950’s. The paintings are reminiscent of the Pop art movement in America during the 50’s, headed by notable artists such as the late Andy Warhol and Tom Wesselmann. Sandra Low received her M.F.A. from the University of Southern California, B.A. in Sociology from UC Berkeley and currently teaches at Pasadena City College and Rio Honda College. A reception for the artist will take place on Thursday, October 1st, 4:00 to 6:00 pm with an Artist talk at 4:30pm. Parking is free in Lot C on the day of the opening reception.
